    ... are visiting Oshkosh for a whole week. We talked about some of the differences between building and flying in our two countries and generally spent an enjoyable half hour together. That is one of the wonderful aspects of something like this show - you by definition have a common interest, aviation, with almost everyone in the crowd.

    Another really good day...

    I had originally planned on waking up at 6, doing a quick breakfast, then trying to be in the air by 7. Instead, I let Alex sleep until 7:30, then he watched cartoons while I read a book - a much more relaxing solution than what I had planned. The sky was clear all the way to Oshkosh, so nothing to fret about there.

    On the road again heading to see our close friends Robin and Steve in Sturgeon Bay Wi. Plan to stay and visit for 5 days. We all loved Oshkosh. Amazing Farmer's market.     ... s generosity. I managed to stay very quiet while managing to get through the unfamiliar security at the cottage. It's muggy so I opened the windows even though there's AC. Pewaukee, the last town we passed before getting here, was surrounded by fog and deer and drunk fishing cheese heads. So tomorrow? I'm not sure and so far I'm unbothered by that.... Just sitting here feeling the breeze and not watching ...
