A travel blog entry by dkauten on Feb 15, 2015

Picked up the car at our friends, the Meadors. Hitting the road for Atlanta. Wow, it's been a whirlwind expedition! Feels like we've been gone for months. Can't believe how much we've seen and all the places that we've been in the last 26 days. I will certainly view so many of the places we've visited with a different set of eyes and opinions ...

      ... our original plan.

I did feel slightly car sick on our longest stretches of driving. It was like riding on a train.

You will need another vacation after you finish unpacking the RV (it took us two hours)!

Would I do this again??? Absolutely! We really want to try out a hybrid camper next so that will probably be our next trip. Then we can compare the two.

Thanks for traveling with us! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we ...

      ... from you.

Our 1,800 miles home using the Southern route gave us no time to stop. Eat, Sleep and Drive – wonder if there is a movie in that? It was a bittersweet return – we found ourselves happy to be back and in touch with friends, family and our everyday lives, but on the other hand, we had just spent every waking (and sleeping) hour with the same people for ...
