    ... in the corner, because I'm soo hyper, I start playing some fast paces, blues/punk stuff.....I don't really make friends because I appear loopy, crazy, odd....but I am just overwhelmed by the joys of music, warm coffee, mountain scenery, hiking exercise....finally Luke shows up, we go into town, had a few beers (Arrogant ******* Pale Ale)...the beer carbonation doesn't sit well on my stomach, with a In-N-out Burger already ...

    Arrived late last night. Had a fun time trying to figure out food. Didn't see any fast food on the drive out to Valley Center and ended up getting a Polish dog (the Chicago Dog to be specific) from Pinks and heading to bed well after midnight. Lady at the front desk took forever to check us in but at least we got our friday reservation changed to stay in our non smoking room. They were going to move us to a smoking room because they are booked solid.

    There is a fine line of crew or passenger when you are a non rev status. (A grey area of cruising). I have to abide by crew regulations but don’t really know what all those are! I was introduced to many of my friend’s friends on board and they were all so gracious. I felt a sincere welcome and “oh you are the friend she was talking about”! Their comradery ...
