Revitalized with coffee and a cinnamon role, we were ready to head for Hurricane Ridge. It's 17 miles from the Visitors Center in Port Angeles to the Visitors Center at the top of Hurricane Ridge, and the elevation changes from basically sea level to 5200 ft in that short distance.     ... 20 miles away for Sunday night.

    I drove 280 miles today, that is about the limit of what I want to do. Tomorrow will be another 250 mile day but it should be doable. Especially since it will be Sunday and the traffic should be minimal through the metropolitan areas.

    We are having a great adventure. Seeing so many things and hooking up with old friends. Life is good!

    ... that sells fresh fish, so I bought a big slab of King salmon and one of Halibut - relish, baby. There's a wide, winding trail along the shore, out to the state park that I rode a couple of times on my new bike - loved that!

    Watched the Hawks Thursday night for the start of the season - more booty kicking. Off to a good start.
