... the Log Slide at Grand Sable Dunes. They are very high and very steep. Did not attempt to go down as the climb back up would have been very taxing. Tom, Mia and Torgny and Sarah met up with us here.

... Ishpeming, Mi. We weren't involved at all, but it sure made us sit up and pay attention to our driving. We went to one of our favourite RV stores in Ishpeming and while in the store someone parked in front of us and a big RV unit parked behind us....so we were stuck for a bit while we hunted down the vehicle owners...some people!!!! And so we continued on our drive through Wisconsin and Superior/Duluth and on through Minnesota without incident, other ...

Made it to Paradise, Michigan after 508.5 miles on the road.
Staying at Corkey's motel tonight. Got a cabin on the water with a fireplace and a great view.
Dinner at the local small eatery down the road from Corkey's. Not so great.

... We saw swans, ducks, loons, and the workings of a pretty hefty woodpecker. I think the rain kept much of the wildlife under cover, but we enjoyed it anyways. Wish we found this sooner. When we were done, the rain was really coming down pretty good so we headed back to our campsite.....it was thundering/lightening too, but it didn't keep ...
Well, wouldn't you know it, we are here in the Upper Peninsula and it's right in the middle of mosquito and black fly season,. OMG, the mosquitos are unbelievable. They are so small that they even are able to get inside the motorhome through the screen windows. We learned and now have everything shut closed. Even with super-duper bug spray, they are having a feast on us. Today we ...
