      ... padlocked. We passed another hour familiarising ourselves with the streets before being checked in by Theresa from Southport. She was lovely. We were able to leave our bags, do our long awaited washing and cook our breakfast. At 10 ish our room was ready. We had barely set off when we got our first glimpse of a wild crocodile dozing on the back (only about 100 metres away from a busy petrol station), just goes to show the warning signs should not be ignored.       Today we headed off towards Mossman and Port Douglas. Angela did the drive to Port Douglas many years ago with her two sisters (one sister was living in Cairns at the time and she visited with her other sister).
