I slept longer than usual last night and was up by about nine. Still, I didn't wait around, I jumped on up and got to work - finishing and submitting the work I'd spent all day on yesterday, worked on some poetry and completed an article for another client I'd been working on this week. ... some of the leftover Chinese for a discounted price. We were going to get an ice cream from McDonalds, but they were sold out, so we got an expensive one from Night Owl instead. On our way back home we listened to the unusual sounds of Cairns, the silence, the birds, the rhythmic click of their pedestrian crossings, and eventually wound up back in our room where we headed back to bed, with the constant whir of a ceiling fan kicking off the ...

... see the reef. The view was not great and the puke bags that were left down there soured the mood. Pun intended! The boat ride back was so much better. There were bumps but not nearly as bad as before! Once back on land we cleaned up and headed out to the German pub for dinner. We had to turn in early because the flight to Sydney was at 515am and we were getting picked up at 330am. Ugh! We were just talking about how we have been here 6 days and have see so much ...

... the chatting we finally got going about 11. Headed to mossman gorge which was really nice. We did a 2.5km walk stopping on the way for swims. Went and got some food and headed back to camp. Day 4...went on calypso today, a snorkelling trip to the Great Barrier Reef. It rained most of the day, but the water at least was still clear and very warm. Took some good shots, and b got to see a reef shark. Got back at 17:30 and went for supper in town, we're so tired so headed back and to ...
