Scubarrific morning diving around Molokini
... crazy.
On our way to our second dive we headed back towards the shore and saw two bottlenose dolphins. Quite amazing. Then we stopped at a spot called Wailea Point for our second dive and during that dive we went down about 30-40 feet and saw sea turtles and eels. We were back on land by 9:45 a.m. It was a fun and productive morning.
Today we wrapped up our 17th dive since April. Good times, for sure!

Blue Hawaii
... around. It was really beautiful. At Molokini crater we saw plenty of beautiful coloured fish and awesome coral reefs.
Turtle town was another highlight of our trip. We saw two large turtles whilst snorkelling and swam along side one for a few minutes. They are beautiful majestic graceful creatures which weren't bothered by us. The turtles we saw sould have been up to 300 years old. ...

... traffic can be bad.
Max has a sunburn on his face, so we are trying to figure out activities that get him out of the heat of the day. We have a snorkel trip booked for the 18th (face down) and maybe he and I will drive up Haleakela tomorrow. No one else is keen on a day-long trip to a place where there could be snow. I can't deny their logic, but I can't resist a mountain. I hope Max feels the same ...
It's all about the food - brunch edition
... I’m told it’s a great place to take young children, with plenty of high chairs and attentive service. I can’t attest to that, never having taken Alexei there when he was small, but we do think it has a great view, with lots of waterfalls and ponds filled with swans that will keep the small ones interested. Pretty flowers, too.
