The villas on the beach are great. The hotel outdated and in for renovation. However, friendly staff, good bar, good restaurant and a marvelous location.

Great place unless you have a problem

This is a nice resort and good value for your money but the boss could learn a thing about customer service. We had a fan that was inadequate for our room, while our friend had two extremely powerful fans in his room. Complaining was simply frustrating as the owner could really care less about your comfort.

... that waiting for the process to take place was long and all we wanted was food, the sentiment behind it was always beautiful. I truly feel that we became a closer family because of it. There were some incredible harmonies created over the month. We shared most of our time together, especially those of us in the dorm! One big room, 3 shared rooms, 19 women, 5 showers, 2 toilets and 3 sinks. Lol we were tight all right! :) There are two bars that flank the Sanctuary and the ...

... music was great. We got along with them really well, and were chatting for hours. We didn't get too drunk - but Jonny had a few more drinks than me. We've got their facebooks and will most likely meet them tomorrow as well for the full moon party. It was a fab night!! We couldn't believe how good the club was, it was full of so many people from different hotels - but we can't believe the club is actually part of our hotel and we re only paying 30 pounds each for 5 nights, ...

... into the taxi (when I say taxi I mean a truck and we sit in the back rocking around with the breeze in our hair-no black cabs here haha) and end up in the centre of town...head straight for the beach...passed the lady boys and there it was...beautiful bungalows and resort right on the beach for cheap. Done. Lotus resort would be our home for the next four nights. So what do two girls do on their first night?? Sleep of course! ...

... and get some rest. I agree, all that happened but I don’t know if it is all its hyped up to be, or at least this one in particular train. Now I can deal with bumping my head, or small twin beds, or loud noise, I mean come on we are traveling, but over 11 roaches in my 1st class cabin, not ok. If it were the jungle like week before, no problem. I guess I just expect some sort of cleanliness in modern transit systems, but for the price I paid about $30, I guess it ...
