... up on that scale…NOT!
Oh, as an aside I did get in a golf round this morning at a little 6,300 yard muni course right down the road from our hotel They must have had a great summer in Chicago with lots of rain, since the rough was so long we had to almost step on the ball to find it, even just off the fairway. I actually lost a ball not more than 10 yards over one green! Let's say I needed the front nine to knock some of the rust off but I was ...

After she returns we cover all of the pleasantries, where we are going, how great California is, that one time that she got left on the tarmac for 2 hours, etc... and then she tells me that she takes care of kids for a living and asks me to guess how much she makes per ...

The fountain does regular water shows and light shows in the evening - I would have liked to have seen that!
There were a lot of students in their graduation cap and gowns - obviously a popular spot for their photos!
Next stop was a short walk ...

We had time to wander down the pier for a bit after seeing some amazing sculptures in the park just across from it, before the next tour began. Chicago has some incredible outdoor art, just about every open public space you see has some kind of permanent or temporary art, often sculpture, on display. The architectural tour was so fun and interesting. Our guide was brilliant, and ...
