... bit before we headed into the University of Illinois, Chicago. (UIC) to see the national USA waterpolo team take on the Serbian national team. It was great walking into a 'real live US college' sports centre. On one side of the building was the swimming pool. On the other, a full size, indoor, baseball ground.... unbelievable.

The water polo was brilliant and the game seesawed back and forth all night. There were a few ...

... none the less. The crack and its resulting "spiderweb" in the windshield grew from about the size of a dime when it first happened to well over a half dollar by the time we drove the remaining 80 miles to our hotel. For a while I feared we were going to lose the entire windshield on the road.

I must say, for once we were happy for one of the many commercials that seem to saturate the Florida ...

... I'm falling in love. I think it was while we were being windswept and cold on the river that we managed to burn our arms quite badly, we shall be slathering on the after sun and sudocrem for the rest of the trip now. And of course bringing out the factor 50! Sorry mum! After that we walked over to the Millennium Park to find The Bean, got a bit lost in the park and managed to walk right ...
