It's Saturday here in Beihai and the weather is beautiful!!!! Yesterday we went to the beach as a group and last night I went to dinner with Maddie and her host girl! It was a lot of fun! And at the place where we ate dinner they had Christmas decorations!!!!! After we ate we went and got ice cream! I didn't know they had Häagan-Dazs in China! Sorry I haven't written in a few days
... It was so nice! It is the best kindergarten in beihai so your parents have to be important people in order for you to go there. It was more of a preschool/kindergarten since it was for ages 2-6. In the afternoon we went to classes. I passed around peppermint bark for everyone to try and they loved it!!!! They sang a song to thank me and Katharine, she is in my class and she passed out stuff too. Tomorrow afternoon they are making us sing in ...
First full school day
... She is also a really good singer. I was supposed to watch her in a singing competition today, but it got moved to Wednesday so instead we watched the instrument competition. This morning we had to introduce ourselves in Chinese to all 3,000 students! It was nerve wracking! In the afternoon, we learned the art of paper cutting. It was fun! And then we walked around and said hi to the students who were in PE. they all said i was so beautiful and some asked me if i was a ...

First free day with host family
... I should share Him with my classmates. This really encouraged me!!!! I think they came from the church that is on that street. It is one of the only two churches in Beihai. I really liked walking down this street. It was really fun and good to hang out with some of the other Booker T students! I love it when I get to see them! Well that's all for today!
