    ... pipe causing all the trouble. So wonderful to crank it back up!
    Watched a lot of cookery programmes while we were trapped in. Most of them were very odd and not to UK taste. Very sweet stuff in the main. e.g. salads made of pineapple, mini marshmallows, tangerines and coconut, welded together with mayo.
    Had several FT chats with the girls which was great. ...

    It felt like it took forever for us to finally make it to Ft. Lauderdale. We woke up that morning to leave for the airport around 4:30 AM; starting our day before the sun did. Our first flight to Atlanta Airport departed at 6:45 AM. We were both extremely excited about the trip but not so much about the flights to get us there.     ... pastrami sandwich. They take pastrami, heat it up, slap a piece of cheese on it, put it on some thick cut Italian bread and then top it with a handful of French fries; next comes some barely wet coleslaw and a tomato! We were sitting at the counter and watched the cook make the orders. All the sandwiches and hamburgers are made the same way. We ended our day stopping at the ice cream place next door and getting a little ice cream. (I had frozen yogurt since i had cheese for lunch and dinner.)
