... aft and to inspect all guest and crew cabins for smoke. What is going on now!? We had only left shore an hour prior and the smoke we could smell was from a fire pit of some sort, not the boat.
We were then in Nassau for two days at the cruise ship terminal. We had a crew dinner before leaving which happened to have karaoke set up outside, how perfect! We then left for Baker's Bay, a private island for the rich and famous. The guest trip ended up ...

... had the crème brulle. The atmosphere of the restaurant was wonderful. The service impeccable, the food divine. How they can top this meal or even maintain the level of excellence is going to be tough. I’ll keep you posted.

A walk outside on the lido and deck 3 ended with us finding chocolate covered strawberries and champagne when we returned to our room.

... to the gas fill shop and reprovisioned.
THe BAHAMAS - stunningly beautiful, but after clear water, beautiful beaches, great snorkelling, there is not much to do, the islands have been taken over by the Americans and sanitized
no more beach bar shacks - now plush bar restaurants
no more tiny fruit shops - all shopping plazas
no walking everyone takes taxis
its still beautiful but its not like the real caribbean -its almost boring !!

... the costumes amazing, the family atmosphere....priceless. All kids, whether on the street formally performing, or on the sidelines are "in the parade" its infectious. It is a must do for the families on the island.

Wednesday. We left at 10:00 a.m. for Treasure Cay, a mere 18 miles away and had a great sail. Around 2 pm we were anchored in the beautiful little harbor. After registering we couldn't wait to go sit in the powdered sugar sand and look at one of the world's most beautiful beaches.
