... obstacle course timed in teams, then timed individually. The course really helped us get familiar with our horse and how to work with it.
We stopped at about 11.30 and headed into Bandera for a town cowboy parade. Anyone who wants to get involved can ride their horse, cow, car, motorbike, caravan, tractor or whatever they want to celebrate.

Wanted Jane to see Fredericksburg. When I lived in San Antonio, Fredericksburg was a small town looking very much like it did in the early 1900's, but it has grown up. VERY high end shops, not so much cheap junk, very nicely done, did I mention VERY expensive? Had a nice stroll through downtown, then headed off to our hotel in Boerne. Had a great dinner at Cypress Cafe. GOLF tomorrow!

We left Fredericksburg and backtracked to the LBJ Ranch near Stonewall for the early morning tour.

Growing up in the 1960s as a high school and college student, many of the items on display brought back a lot of memories of those turbulent times.
