Yercaud Hills
... up the hills. Drove through 20 hair ping bends to reach the top. The view of Salem town and the scenery in the sides were amazing to lookout from the vista points in the uphill drive. Yercaud is a very small town up the hills with very few shops, attractions and roads.
We checked into Grand Palace hotel and there was a another surprise, the room didn't have AC rather a ceiling fan. Cursed the hotel and rested for few hours. It had a nice ...
Hogenakkal Falls
... was thunderous
and heavy rain, all of us running for shelter.
After waiting for almost an hour, when nothing was left of the
heavy rain but just a drizzle, we started our drive back, with the
valley cooled down very much.
We left the valley, watching the picturesque beauty, deciding that
we would definitely come back during rainy season, to get the greener
version of the picture.
