    On my way to St Johns, I stopped and had lunch at Chick-Fil-A, which is my favorite place to eat and it cost me $5.95.     ... unique. We had wound our way up a peak we could see the road wind back down to a narrow valley. Down in the valley there was a stream & a bridge for the highway to cross. Then it wound back up another peak on the other side of the valley.

    Casa Malpais RV Park is OK for an overnight trip. There were several very old rigs that people are obviously living in full time. That always makes an RV park seem a little iffy. ...

    A short drive took us to Payson where we checked in to our hotel and then headed out to find the rodeo ground. Sadly, it began to rain but we took our waterproofs and hoped for the best.     ... the boys but I think they came out even. Abi and I tried woodworking at 10am, where we made a photo frame. I can't believe they let us loose with a compressed air nail gun. I am pleased to report that no fingers were nailed to the table but Abigail did nail her photo frame to the table. We then got to use an orbital sander under the instruction of a Mexican who spoke very poor English, he was good at miming though so we worked it out.
