Rode into West Virginia today. Blows my mind that this is the second to last state we cycle through before hitting Washington DC. Its been a great trip and I'm excited to finish strong. We had a great arrival today into city hall and then another fun friendship visit with mountain state center for independent living. Met a lot of ...

I thought Ireland was so beautiful, and yet here we are ...

We are still in Wheelersburg, Ohio. We are so tired from travel and preparation to get here that we overslept and missed breakfast. Scott has a terrible cold and his eyes are blood red. He does not feel well at all. I can't tell if I am sick or just mean and mad that I am on this bike again. We checked out, headed to get the local maps needed, and to Scott's wits end, and my joy, we had to spend the night again. I slept like a log, and ...

The return happens. We are back in Louisville, truck rental, storage shed to pick up bikes, close out rental agreement, and we are off. Scott has chosen a route longitudinally exact, (he could have fudged a few miles), north of Kentucky. Kentucky was beautiful, but holds much anxiety for us. We went home, for the twins, for a severe morning sickness daughter, and for an end of another daughters' marriage. We had been prompted for weeks with uneasiness, when we finally ...
