    Today was another tourist day, so it gave us a chance to sleep in - a little. We've been dodging the rain since we left, and I guess I can't really complain, as we are in the path of some of the worst storms passing through Texas and into the middle of the country.     Today was a great motorcycle riding and scenery day. The first part of the trip was 160 miles of some of the greatest motorcycle riding so far. Scenic Route 7 is exactly what its name implies. Up and down the Ozark mountains, with twists and turns, a 7% downhill grade and hairpin turns as slow as 15 mph. Topped off with some breathtaking scenic overlooks, and we couldn't ask for a better day.

It was a vibrate hotel for several years, then became a Ladies College during the off months and hotel during the summer months from 1908 to 1934. Then in 1937 it became Baker's Cancer Curing Hotel.
