... We could not budge off the reef with the boat engines, so I jumped in the dinghy and fixed a tow line and with every motor full on we managed to pull us off. Diving on the hull later revealed some small damage to gel coat on the keel. :-(

This was not to be our day though because as we arrived later that day in Kas, I discovered the port engine bay was half full of water! A quick check showed that the hose for the transom shower had ...

After a chill night and yet another beautiful meal we enjoy yet more sleep... It's holidays after all! Finally late at night Tom, Amy and gorgeous Asher arrived and get settled. I think it's exactly that attitude that's got them in the **** in the first place. We were dropped back at the old city which is a stones throw from the port and so we had a wander. The Cohens and Jaffes found the local synagogue and so we went in for a look. I actually found it to be really interesting as they have a type ...

... magical interlude in a special venue.

We had decided to head for Köyceġiz situated on a fresh water lake between Marmaris and Dalaman. The distance was 46Km but the GPS estimated travelling time as about 1,5hours – the twisty roads and the built up areas mean slow progress and time to enjoy the views.

Köyceġiz was indeed a very pretty town on the lake but there was no campsite and we did not find a ...
