Another perfect day in Cairns, though it was a bit cool when we were embarking on our 8.30am passage to Green Island (maybe 17 or 18 degrees!) The fast catamaran was just chockas. I was told 'Bro Jim' would collect me, having no idea at all what he looked like. But he was a standout in his brown monk's habit, and a very cheerful chappy. As the only unaccompanied woman around, I must have been easy for him to spot too! ...

... to leave after my four days here to be honest... It was simply too hot for me... I cope much better with temperatures no higher than 30 degrees. So I was pleased to be flying further south to Brisbane (although not actually much cooler) to hang out with some furry mates and then on to New Zealand. YAY. My time down under is almost over! Crikey Bruce... Where's the time bloody gone?! Oh and Bruce... I knew it was a log all along... I was just testing you, ya crazy ...
