When everyone finally arrived on Thursday it was great getting to see and get reacquainted with relatives we hadn't seen for 40 years... way too long. I think everyone had a good time visiting, sight seeing, eating together, and going to the local attractions together. I know I did. We had family members from coast to coast attending the reunion... 40 in all. I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed ...
... I take some Dramamine. I start to feel better and at the next fuel stop Margaret and I get ginger-ales to drink. We arrive in the outskirts of Memphis (Arkansas side of the river) at 3:30pm after 6 hours of travel and 265 miles (4352 total miles traveled now).
We finally get some hotdog buns... 5:00pm (CT): Memphis, Tennessee. We have carried a package of bratwurst with us in the fridge ...
... was already filling up. We found our 'good' seats (wayyyyy in the back). Oh well, we could still see really well. The show was really good and was a mixture of rock and roll, blues and country. After the show we headed to McDonald's for some french fries for Margaret, along with everyone else in Branson with a 'trainee' taking the orders... it took forever. Back at the MH we all snacked and went to bed around ...
