... as a treat. Unfortunately we spent 2 hours being moved from room to room as the place was not up to standard, I mean, we're not snobs but for the amount we paid the rooms were unsatisfactory. Eventually, we were moved to a much nicer room just before Scott went out for a dive. We went out for dinner with Olivia and Nathan before heading to a Caberet show which was so much ...

Also for some reason two guys got completely naked and went through it a well. Maybe so their clothes didn’t burn? Watching it all is so funny!

Next stop was to the end of the beach. The burning skipping rope wasn’t running yet and we didn’t get to see it, except was off in the distance later on that night as the crowd was massive down there and too much house music going on.

After a gorgeous nights sleep on the train and 2 attempts with hilarious/incapable taxi drivers, we went to freshen up at our hotel and a buffet breakfast. I had about 7 courses, everyone else stuck to 3. ...

... mean, it didn’t have anything special, just a restaurant but we had our own bungalow and the location was great. We had a shower and after having a little break we decided to indulge ourselves and go for a good lunch.

We chose one of the resorts with swimming pool right on the beach, thinking that if we ate there we could use their swimming pool afterwards. Even if the lunch was good it was nothing great for the price (BHT 500) but the worst thing was that after ...

... chilling. It faces west (i.e. sunset location of the year), has lots of bars and restaurants facing the ocean and offering a great view. The water is as hot as my bath and crystal clear. The island is conveniently small enough to walk everywhere, which we do. It is the travellers dream to come here, especially if you are on a two/three weeks vacation from work. Ideally, you would rent a quiet bungalow overlooking the beach, start your day ...
