          ... Garden plots similar to the English allotments are popular over here, the difference being that the gardeners build a low stud, tiny house on them. I must find out if some people live in them as some have a chimney. They are intriguing and seem to be productive.
          As we are traveling without bookings, we have decided to have a night in Groningen, North Holland , only because the lady in the Hamilton map shop said it was lovely. Let's find out tomorrow!

          ... and carved wooden posts and alcoves. There is no English spoken anywhere here and the English writing on the menu so small you almost need a magnifying glass to read it. But it was all good and we enjoyed the evening. Amazingly when we got back to our room we were able to watch the All Blacks against Namibia on the TV.           ... hospital during WWII. There were very lavish state rooms, reception rooms, the throne room etc. When we got to Malchow, our hotel was on the canal in a delightful small village.
