      ... up the next hill, and then down again, only to go up. You get the idea. :-). Well, going was more downhill than up, so it seemed fairly easy. It was a great diner experience with our waitress describing all the entrees on the chalkboard. No paper menus for this joint! I had a great omelette. Brussel sprouts are actually really good in an omelette!! Now for the ride home....more uphills than downhills. But we persevered ...

      We are eating dinner at a gas station in Clam Lake. 60 miles so far. It's a really nice road, but really windy and lots of hills. It's seems like we are always climbing but we are never going down. We went through elk country. Right now we are making dinner. That's it for now. ~Maeve We have saw so many deer today! In fact once we got about 10 feet from one! I am eating ramen noodles for dinner, Maeve has spam! We have 18 miles to go until the campsite. That's it for now, BYE ...
