After a bus from Mission Beach to Townsville, a one hour wait at the port, a 20 minute ferry and another bus we finally made it to our hostel on Magnetic Island on Sunday 5th. So when it came to actually leaving mission beach, I ended up staying ANOTHER night with the gang but it was good, I ended up spending too much time on the Saturday going to the market and enjoying the sunshine, that by the time the car was packed it was already 4:30pm so ended up staying one more night and heading off in the morning to Townsville.
