We decided to get a bit further afield today, so hired a scooter and rode to Bali Bird Park. After shaking off an impromptu guide, we arrived in time for the Bali Rainforest Free Flight Bird Show, a showcase of parrots, macaws, hornbills, and ducks! ... with spen, to look. They saw the bugs, apologised and while the lady went to get her superior, man 1 swept the bed. 'Man 2' arrived without the lady. He proceeded to chat to man 1 in Balinese, coming to the conclusion that there were NO bugs. Apparently man 1 was denying all knowledge. And conveniently the lady had finished her shift and left. We then proceeded to have a shouting match with these 2 while they called us liars. We were told we could try another room. ...

... banded sea snakes, mantis shrimps, and more verities of fish and coral than you can imagine. I've assisted I teaching new and improving students by supporting the instructors with safety and logistics. It is very tiring, it's a two hour trip to Tulamben and we often fall asleep on the way back. And I have just not had the energy to write any blogs. I will try to keep up with it better! See you in the ...
