      Flying into Bangkok was a great experience on a picture perfect day. From the air, Bangkok seems well organised and orderly, rows of neat and uniformed housing and acres of neatly sown paddocks greet you. Even the airport was organised- different coloured lines to follow for different things- yellow for taxis!

      ... soup) Jen and I ventured out down the palm tree-lined driveway to go for a couple of sunrise runs. On these exertions, we would see local monks who were out for early morning walks to give blessings and collect food donations from roadside shop owners. As well we would see many groups of Koh Mak dogs roaming freely and never seeming to bark- they were definitely 'island dogs'.

      Finally Saturday 28th June arrived and I was sitting on a bus to Bangkok. I arrived very early Sunday morning and took a taxi to the nearest Sky Train station. I arrived at the airport one hour and 2 sky trains later. Here I had a 2 and a half hour wait before the plane I was waiting on was due to arrive.
