The only negative was people leaving the doors to the outside open which heated up the boat. The humidity is so wet that it saturates the cabins and public rooms. The air-conditioning keeps the room cold but I brought bath powder to sprinkle on the bed to get rid of that wet feeling. I also asked for a sheet on the bed instead of the heavy comforter duvet of European taste. These were too heavy for this ...

... the boat after a long walk along slick and thin, rusty walkways. Nobody fell in the green Yangtze River but you know I was waiting for the inevitable again.

We had a group talk around 5:15pm and our tour guide explained everything we are doing tomorrow and there were not one, not two, but THREE big surprises for us! ... had no idea but it transpired that there is a range of “RAW" foods that can be selected that you can then chose to dunk in either of the bowls for cooking by yourself! We finally gave up and just managed to get the message across to our waitress that she should do the choosing for us. We don’t think she did any choosing she just got us the lot!
