      ... t have much time left after eating for swimming which was a shame. But I suppose it was for the best as the water here was so cold!! It must be due to the amount of rivers and mineral springs exiting here! Back on the bus to our last destination! The Rio Grande! Jamaicas biggest river.       ... grounds including all of Great Huts furry and feathered friends, help out in the kitchen, provide security (although none seems needed) and generally make the guests feel right at home. In fact, I so wish I could remember the names of each staff member so that I could mention them in this review but suffices to say, everyone was just terrific. Especially the general manager, Tanika who accommodated all my many moves.

      ... exciting things to come before then.

      Time now 5pm. My mobile has just chirped a welcome to Jamaica courtesy of DIGICEL. I have scanned the horizon and can’t see land but obviously it is there somewhere. We are due at the pilot station at 8pm so will arrive in the dark. I am looking forward to seeing Jamaica as it will be totally different to the countries we have visited thus far.
