I knocked on Grandmay's door at 8:30 am, which was when I had arranged to call. She was surprised and pleased that we had in fact booked ourselves into the flat next door to hers, on the 6th floor of a modern block, half holiday, half residential, with great views of Caloundra's seafront.

... SWIMMING”. På stranden var der lavet en lagune, som desværre også var lukket,
her pga. højvande. Børnene legede lidt på en legeplads inden vi besluttede at
køre tilbage til campingpladsen for at bade lidt i poolen.

Aftensmaden blev i dag pasta med kødsauce og
tomatsalat, som Lars tilberedte i fælleskøkkenet, imens jeg blev i autocamperen
og hjælp børnene med deres lektier.

Efter et spil Yatzy gik vi alle i seng kl. 20.30.

Vejret var skønt, så vi pakkede badetøjet og tog til stranden. Her badede vi, og jeg hjalp børnene afsted på vores surfboard, så de i fuld **** fløj helt ind på stranden på de store bølger. Kæmpesjovt! Efter et kort besøg i swimmingpoolen gik vi i bad og kørte så til byen for at handle og se om det i Calundra var muligt at købe en stor bog om Australiens dyreliv til familien Jørgensen.
