We did see lots of chipmunks, squirrels . . . and a deer that makes regular visits (they call her Alice!).

As we approached The Mighty Mac, we couldn't get a pictured at some of the pullouts because of the fog. It didn't clear to get a good view until just we entered the approach!

Thank goodness...we are all exhausted. This is so ...

... anyone, but it was Laurie's fault...without a doubt!! The girls set off in the pontoon boat with Laurie serving as captain. Do you already see the problem! Surprisingly we docked without issue. Couldn't have been any smoother. Leaving was another story. Let's just say, panic combined with no boating skills just about took out a dock. No need to relieve the horror. Sophie loves her island paradise. She spends all day chasing chipmunks and swimming. Yes, swimming. She swims around ...

... dinner/listened to music and just relaxed. There is not cable at this campground, but we don't need it. We did have a DVD and watched a late night movie. At 8:30 it was so peaceful. Tomorrow we head to the Upper Peninsula where we will spend a few days --- probably until Wednesday. Looking forward to it. One thing I can say so far.........people are soooooooooooo nice. Helpful/friendly --- so unlike what we are used to in CT. ...
