... why I was homesick was because Chen Xia stayed home from school sick so I was without a host student on Friday. Also it's midway through the trip so I think it's normal to be a little home sick. Sorry I haven't written in a few days
... It was so nice! It is the best kindergarten in beihai so your parents have to be important people in order for you to go there. It was more of a preschool/kindergarten since it was for ages 2-6. In the afternoon we went to classes. I passed around peppermint bark for everyone to try and they loved it!!!! First full school day
Today was my first full day of school! It was a lot of fun! Chen Xia's friends our so nice! I especially like Sandra. She is so nice to me and she asked me for my email on Saturday and she emailed me that night! She is really funny in her emails when she talks about her school! She said she would bring me some English books to read in class if I'm bored because I don't understand what's going on. She said the classes are sometimes boring to people who can speak Chinese ...
First full school day
... all wanted to take a picture with me! I kind of felt famous!!! Then me, Paulina, Chloe, Sam, and Delaney and our hosts all went to dinner together in the evening. It was so good!!!!
