... that weed is either legal or the law is just not enforced because the local crowd was making a cloud. The pictures are cool, but you can't hear or smell a picture. It definitely added that island, reggae feel to it. Bankie jamming a little helped. We hung out at The Dune Preserve for several hours.

Todd came up and did a couple of blues songs for us, and this was our first introduction to blues musician Nic Clark. That was indeed a treat. ...

As we have visited this island before we decided not to book an organized trip but just to walk into town and do our own thing. The weather was fantastic and for once the sun was actually shining on our side of the ship! We did a bit of shopping and had lunch at a beach front bar. ... water taxi pier in Philipsburg you are treated to an idyllic Caribbean beach scene: gorgeous white sand, umbrellas, a "boardwalk-like" avenue and a cool breeze. The beachside shops are mostly restaurants, bars, and other entertainment venues; going through an arch takes you to the more traditional touristy shops on the other side of those buildings; despite the lack of beach view, they are every bit as clean, well-kept, and cheery.

Thurs dinner – we went to Flavours – what a find. As soon as we arrived, I realized I had left my sweater at home, but no worries, they have shawls for the ladies, so thoughtful. We loved it, the view is fabulous, they started us with a delicious complimentary ratatouille with johnnycakes – wow that was good. We shared the warm seafood salad, a big portion chock full of fish, shrimp and scallops. I got the pepper pot which is so ...
