          ... had also kindly came over early from her home to say a goodbye.

          So off we go to Nashville, the weather is rainy, misty and weird but it makes a nice relaxing drive through the hills and forest. Along the way, I fit a quick 10-20minute powernap in, and then pass the time by catching up on the blogging on the laptop. We stopped about an hour out from Nashville for fuel and to stretch our legs.

          ... and one within the last 4 miles. We also had a lot of road/gravel road walking again today. We actually road walk a little too much near the end because the road we needed was not blazed, map marker #22. From map marker #22 to #23 there is zero blazes.           ... and I started to have foot and knee issues. I later found that my hiking boots were ready to be retired, lack of tread and sole. We stopped for water at an unmarked creek and at lunch for approximately 30 minutes.

          ... shelter was very nice and allowed us to dry off the tent from the night before. There was plenty of room for 8+ people but found ourselves being the only ones there that night. This was the only night we had a camp fire, about 4 hours worth. Pretty sweet setup.
