... seems to know each other, so people were waving and beeping, probably wondering who the funny looking white dude with a useless helmet was on the back lol. I was taken to the ATM, but after shown round his new house he's building and introduced to his wife. We then nipped off for breakfast, spiced potatoes and rice, and some iced tea malt drink, which was odd but not unpleasant...

We decided to extend our day by one more on the island just to get fully rested. The day was mildly un-eventful. We sat on the beach (away from trees) and watched the world go by. But we've uploaded a picture of the toucans which we've since found out are called Rhinoceros Hornbills... ...

... to be a good meal, just like back home. I was so stuffed i had to lay in a prone position for quite a considerable amount of time afterwords. The sign of a good dinner. Thanks to Stu and Naomi we had an awesome day, didn't really feel like we were a million miles away from family and friends in England.

... for a nice restaurant with a fan above our table which meant the bill was going to be a little higher than the norm. Horizon Restaurant, I thought they served the best chicken curry that I had tried so far in Malaysia and thumbs up to their chilli scallops as well.After dinner we headed back home where we watched movie on our laptop before going to bed. The night wasn't too good as Lucky started to itch again.

... but unfortunately the lack of Malaysian on her part and lack of English on his part meant they got nowhere.

Nevertheless it was clear that she would miss two things when we left Malaysia – the Nyonya style prawns and the other was the Blackcurrant drink with aloe vera chunks that she has been drinking by the bucket load and already trying to ship home in containers. Move over Ribena … there’s a new sugary drink ...
