... such a storm in all my life. It continues for hours with flashes of lightning so bright they could blind. At the storm's height these flashes are going off at many per second. At midnight, despite our room being safely buried at ground level beneath two nearly touching rooves the bed is still being regularly lit by white light through the windows. And the rain hitting the roof is deafening.

It was an easy and beautiful way to fall ...

If you wanted to build an island out of plastic bottles, look no further, as it was like a waste dump in Mumbai, I was so dissapointed. ... you amused as you relax on the beach.
Everything shuts up early as so few people here, we and a few tourists plus the monkeys are left to enjoy the beach by ourselves and they have great sunsets.

So Jo and I are spoilt for choice I dont know Decisions Decisions fish prawns squid what shall we have ?

... the mainland, it was also a very sad farewell to the Booths at the end of their chapter in our adventure as our taxi headed for the cool of the Cameron Highlands, whilst the Booths were bound for Kuala Lumpur airport and, ultimately, freezing England. Although sad to say goodbye, it was fantastic to see them and share some of our experiences. The couple of weeks together were fantastic, but Karen and Steve were very much missed during the Malaysian adventure.
