Two Days in Pokhara
Our journey to Pokhara starts at 7am and takes 7,5 hours with several stops on the road. Sharp turnings and broken roads make our journey an not-so-easy one. Pokhara is just like a nice green county, less people live here and the houses are usually quite big and nice-looking. I think it is more of a wealthier population who live here. It has a …
Work hassle/ chilling in Pokhara
Oh God, I thought I'd left behind schoolyard quarrels on this career break! I got back to Kathmandu and spent a lot of time trying to help the two local Nepali employees sort things out in this, their first season, which is turning out to be very busy. Due to their busy schedules, it's been very hard to get the two of them together and every time I …
Annapurna Sanctuary Trek (12 days)
* These are our daily journals from our Annapurna Trek 5/16/2009 - 5/27/2009. They are quick notes to help us remember our fabulous journey.

A cloudy start meant the stunning sunrise expected was ok but not totally awe inspiring... Also a panic about keeping the driver waiting meant we missed the majority of the clouds changing colour. However the …
FAREWELL NEPAL
We flew up to Pokhara to be greeted by more sunshine and great views of the Annapurnas and Dhaulagiri. However after a day spent pottering on the lake and having second thoughts about our decision not to trek up to the Annapurna Sanctuary, the weather finally broke. (So it would have been a good idea to take some pictures when the sun and mountains …

TravelPod Member ReviewsFishtail Lodge Pokhara
I stayed in Fish Tail Villa in Pokhara and had a blast! Very close to Lakeside, just 5 mins by walking. Staff was friendly, it was just like a home. The room was clean, with attached bathroom and hot shower. And they had free wi-fi too. On top of it all, amazing Himalayas views from each floor! Absolutely recommend this place!
