... guest house to try their food after reading online that Peoples Lodge and Greenview were both very good places to eat, along with our guesthouse. Peoples Lodge mmm what can I say…miserable staff and it was just like being in someone’s living room, all the elderly family members gathered watching TV. Well maybe the food would be good, yeah??? Nooooooo!

... better to have shared the cost with others!

I had spoke to a Dutch guy en route to Batad and he was at my guesthouse while we killed time till the night bus to Manila. I grabbed some fried rice and picked up some snacks for the overnight journey.



The bus left at 7 am and was packed. I got some sleep, but the driver played some pretty loud music driving south to Manila.
