Historical Traveler Reviews Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun All Inclusive
The people at Fiesta Americana Condesa made my first experience to Cancun a wonderful memroy to cherish. The staff was all very eager to help in any way they could, and the hotel was very neat and clean. Thanks Fiesta Americana Condesa!
I have stayed in several hotels/resorts in cancun, and condesa rivals the best all inclusives. The entrance to the hotel and its lobby are breathtaking. The lounge there is so confortable and relaxing, yet beautiful. The beach was awesome. Perfect. I love sitting under the palapas and having waitresses/waiters bring drinks. Pool was spectacular! Food was average. But don't let that keep you from coming to this hotel. Our room's view was breathtaking. The service was great and the staff a pleasure. I usually opt for the more isolated resorts south of cancun, but for staying in cancun, this resort is top notch.
Absolutely Beautiful & Perfect!
This vacation was perfect! First of all we got a great deal on an all-inclusive package for 6 days/5 nights. We arrived to the hotel and it was drop dead gorgeous! Baggage handelers took our bags immediately as we stepped off the bus. Then we rode up an escaltor into a huge open air lobby. Check in was simple. We walked to our room, which was a normal suite. It waas onthe top floor, on the front of the hotel. We had a balcony which could hold at least 50 people. The balcony had a panoramic view of cancun. Ocean at ever angle. It was truely breathtaking.
We eat at the htoel for almost every meal, mainly because the food was amazing. The buffet is the way to go! Every meal time was fantastic. Each dinner buffet has a different theme. You have a choice of eating at the outdoor bungalow, indoor dinner hall and even an upscale italien resurant. The service was terrifc. I swear that they clean your room 3-4 times per day. The wait staff and bartenders we extremely friendly. They remember your name and what you like to drink!
Please check this resort out, you won't regret it!
A bad start for a honeymoon
Well we arrived in Cancun for our honeymoon during Huricanne Isadora. We will just say this was not the best time to arrive. Soon after arriving to the lobby, which was wonderful, we would soon realize teh honeymoon would have it's mishaps. First- the staff indicated that our hotel room was not all inclusive- I must admit that this may not be their faults but what happens next is what ruined our stay for one night. We proceeded to check in and was sent to one room- but we didn't have the key to this room. So after going back to the lobby, while getting rained on, they proceded to change our room. While waiting in the lobby area we heard some glass breaking and screams- some window panes had broke and shattered throughout the hotel. Finally we get to our room which we had to go through the servants area (under ground) to get to because this area was blocked off. WE get to our room and find a nice view but unable to open the sliding doors due to the storm. We preceed to call home and to make changes and find out this hotel will not work with us and wants $1200 for the all inclusive meals. This was not going to happen. WE did order room servicewhich cost $50 American dollars for pizza, soda, and something else. The next day we checked out to move to the Grande Caribe Real Resort and Spa but upon checking out they wanted to bill us for two bottles of water in our first room which we never was able to enter nor ever had the key. They was kind enough to take this off our tab. All and all our stay was terrible, however, I have heard from friends that this hotel was first class service. You make your judgement.
Fiesta Americana Condesa was wonderful. When we pulled up in our cab the bell man was wonderful. Rode the escalator up the beatiful lobby. Checked in at the nicest front desk. Pool area is fun and spetacular. Great bar delicious food. I do adivse the all inclusive. The best staff. Great Beach. I am a travel agent and I would and will book all my clients there. We had a relaxing stay and enjoyed the service by the staff. Made friends with staff and will definaltly go back.
We traveled to Cancun in October 2002. Stayed at the Condesa, GREAT VACATION. The hotel was clean and everyone nice. They are updating the hotel and it was still a wonderful time. The beach is wonderful with great sand, better than some in Cancun. The food was good. We didn't care for the upscale restaurant. The bellman is a good man
to know for the inside scoop on Cancun. We would go back in a heart beat. If you get the chance to go....go for it you will have a great time.
I stayed August 4-8 at the Fiesta Americana Condesa in Cancun. Let me just say that when our bus pulled up to the hotel, it took my breath away. The entrance is amazing!! We never saw another hotel that looked even similar to it. The lobby area is beautiful and the rooms are very nice. The pool area is AMAZING!!! I have never seen anything like it. The food was very exotic, so I stuck to the things I was familiar with. This hotel sits on a beautiful beach and the resort is very clean!!! You will constantly see people cleaning even the weirdest things-(elevator buttons??) I do have a few complaints, but you will find something wrong with every hotel. My friend and I decided to get some braids in our hair( 12 braids which is just the top of our hair) We figured that it wouldn't cost much because it wasn't even close to a full head of braids. Well, when I went to pay, the person at the spa had to consult with a coworker and then walked to another room where the woman was that did my hair. (Basically whatever they feel like charging you) He finally told me it was going to be $38.00!!! I couldn't believe it!! When I went back to tell my friend how much it was, I overheard the lady telling a customer that she would charge them $40.00 for a whole head of braids!!!! I asked her about it and she made up some excuse about because it was only a half, they charged me what they did-made absolutely no sense. Also, our room was left open one night by the maid and one night a mop was left in our room. Our shower would turn all the way hot, then all the way cold-doesn't feel too good on a sunburned scalp! Other than these things, the hotel was excellent. The location is great and I felt very safe-much safer than the other side of town. You're right across the street from AquaWorld. I would recommend the jungle tour if you go. They put chocolates on our pillow at night and turned down the blankets for you at night!! I felt like a princess. Not much for nightly entertainment at the hotel-mostly singing. You will be
h for Cancun because of the party atmosphere, but I would definitely return just to get another chance to stay at this luxurious hotel. You will definitely be glad you chose the Fiesta Americana Condesa.
Great resort. Great time.
My wife and I recently spent six days and seven nights at the Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun resort. We opted for the "all inclusive" package that included three meals a day at any of their restaurants (or room service) and all "well" drinks. This option worked out well for us. We didn't want to hassle going out much. This was the first trip to Cancun for either of us. The food was very good. There was even a "Mexican festival theme night" that was set up outside by the pool with local Mexican dishes, entertainment and Mexican crafts available for purchase. Great fun. The best part of this resort is the pool/beach area. You just don't want to go anywhere else it's so nice. We also enjoyed the lobby area and main bar. It was very open and tropical. The service was consistently friendly and prompt. We did get outside the hotel for a couple of day trips. For this the hotel concierge service was terrific. We both found the local people to be friendly, approachable and full of the rhythm of Mexico. The live music we heard was nothing short of wonderful. I understand there are many great resorts in Cancun. They all "look" fantastic from the outside. It was a bit of a "crap shoot" for us trying to pick one. The "Condesa" (as everyone refers to it) seemed to be a local favorite. Lucky for us. It's not what you might think of as a "bargain deal", but we felt the money was well spent. We really enjoyed ourselves and would recommend it to anyone. We will go back.
This hotel is one of the best looking hotels in Cancun. It is located in the more quieter part of the hotel zone, perfect for families or couples. The pool is outstanding, with three levels to swim in. Our room was great (all marble floors). The spa was great, offering massages and a hair salon. The service was excellent and the employees at the hotel were wonderful.
The only drawback in choosing this hotel are the the employees working at the "concierge" desk who will try to get you to go to a timeshare sales presentation at another hotel they own. Other than that experience, I found my stay at this hotel very enjoyable.
I stayed at this property 3 years in a row. Each and every time it was wonderful! The pool bar was great. The pool waiters were fabulous, especially Isidro. I highly recommend this wonderful hotel!

The room and bathroom are nice and spacious.
The Fiesta Americana Condesa is a family friendly comfortable resort.
From the hustle and bustle of New York City we changed pace, country and climate dramatically and flew 3 1/2 hours to relaxing, perfectly sunny Cancun, Mexico.
Cancun was absolutely stunning and as picturesque as any place we have seen. It really looked like something off a postcard. …

It had loads of stalagmites which looked unreal. Very scary as, at points, we were completely submerged under water and there was no where to surface. Nath had lots of trouble with equalising his ears throughout diving and then he really struggled with this dive. We have since done a self diagnosis of 'Middle ...
