Next stop on the tour was the much anticipated venture into wine country. Namely the Sonoma valley on route to Healdsburg. It was too expensive to stay in Sonoma or Napa so we decided just to pop in to Sonoma town to see what all the fuss was about. Although pleasant enough we realised we had made a good decision to try a town a few miles further up the road. More importantly the vast number of wineries were ...

... br> I was trying to avoid a particularly menacing bump over a drainage pipe when my front passenger tire, which is no longer my favorite of Adam's tires, went off the road. I thought that maybe it wasn't too bad, but then I got out and let out a pretty pitiful whimper. I made it to Lisa and Allen's after dark and they showed me around by the bright moonlight and we talked for quite awhile.. Then we moved their bed, set up mine and fell asleep ...

... are all so fun to talk with! Just Matt, Mercedes and I went in the sauna. But it sure reminded me of home and it was good for my sniffles. After showers and a debate about Tyra Banks we put on the 2.5 hour movie Blood Diamond. I have no words really. But everyone should see it.

We retired at 4:00 am. This is so not the sleep schedule, my folks were picturing when I said I was leaving to work on farms. Haha!
