... us a room on a holiday weekend within an hour and Quality Inn cut our room rate in half for the next week. By far the biggest shout out I have is for Jim (the manager and I think owner) of Harley Davidson Ukiah and his good friend Sandy. The bike and trailer had to be brought into town and Jim found me Sandy within a half hour to go out and bring her back to the motel. There are such ...

I thought that perfect and tried to drift off for the next hour or so while the persistant bugger kept it up until it was light enough for me to see the spectacular view that was over my belly. I forgot about the fowl and went to get my camera.

... driveway and the new WWOOFer, Nicole, got out to ask directions from Matt. We didn't meet her until after lunch back out pruning again. There are lots of hills of vineyards and I guess Eric was showing her the ropes. Mercedes and I get lunch together: chicken soup, toast and peanut butter, an avocado(!) and dill pickles. We sit outside as much as we can because none of us can get enough of the magnificent view.

I needed to recuperate for a bit, ...
