    ... way of putting out the flames. I lost track of time but after what I guess was a couple of minutes, I realised we were winning, most of the flaming grass having been reduced to smouldering black earth. Once it was all out and the fire in the middle was left to burn out on it's own, I spent a few minutes raking dirt over the still-smoking grass to put it out, before collapsing on the ground.     ... we washed and dried the outsides of the bottles, put the caps on and boxed them. When we moved on to the new bottles, made in France, we had four stickers to put on them: The Le Vin logo and info, an organic olives/pressed by monks message and a limited reserve seal for the lemon olive oil. It was really good. We tried some on crackers.

    We had grilled cheese sandwiches with avocado and tomato at 3:00. Our English girl had never had grilled cheese before! ...

    ... had been able to "check" for it yet since we woke up. I could not stop laughing and eventually I had to remove myself to the vineyard to call home and recount all the circumstantial humor.

    Saturdays are only half days here, which was nice because I was still dealing with the sniffles. I didn't start working until 11:00 and we broke for lunch around 1:30. Us girls got a good chunk of pruning done and Matt worked on mowing and weed wacking ...
