It was tasty, meaty, juicy and well - ace. 11:40 AM : We took a bus up to Universal boulevard, and the walk across to Universal Studios. I like this walk - its straight, interesting, and good training for the walking you have to do throughout the day. 12:15 : Would you believe tha the whole park is open? Historical Traveler Reviews Fantasy World Club Villas Kissimmee
Lovely time
my family stayed in 2 villas over the christmas period of 2003 i found them clean and spacious with all mod cons . we had great bus service to the parks helpfull staff and lovely grounds. much much better than anywhere in the uk. i was dreading going after reading the reports but it was the best accomodation i stayed in in florida. thanks for a great holiday fantasy world.
Very nice for the what we paid
We were very satisfied with the villas. They are not beautiful, but are as clean as what we keep our own house. For the price they were great.
No problems during our 4 night stay! Very satisfied and would go again!
Not Bad--Seen Worse
y family have just returned from our holiday. We stayed at the Fantasy World Club Villas. We found the villa to be ok, but in serious need of up-dating. There was alot of workers sround too which could be un-nerving as they would just walk into the area at the back of the villa un-announced. If the place had a face lift would use them again as someone else said with so much to do you dont spend too much time there anyway. Oh, but whats with the little ants scurrying everywhere!!
They were in the downstairs bathroom and when we first got there all over the worktops in the kitchen!!!
Gross !!!!!
This place was truly disgusting. It was old, dark and depressing. The kitchen cabinets were peeling, the tile floors are old and dirty, the upstairs bedrooms were old and the carpet was scuzzy and the bathrooms are at least 30 years old. Even if you are on a tight budget, I would not stay here. The maid service is extra and it is not worth it. They don't clean the tables or even push in the chairs. -- UGHHHHHHHHHHH -- NEVER AGAIN. We went onto their website and thought this would be a nice place to say and it is very misleading. The grounds are old and there is no landscaping. The only nice thing about this place was the lobby area.DON'T WASTE YOUR $$$$$$$$.
Hated This Place
This is a horrible place to stay. The rooms are run down and dark. The rooms are not well equipped. The bathrooms are old. The towels are like scouring pads along with the sheets. Maid service is extra and it sucks. The lobby is the nicest part of these villas. I wouldn't stay here again if the rooms were for free. This place needs a HUGE FACELIFT. The pictures on line must be 30 years old. I give this place a negative rating.DOn't waste your money.
Excellent Place to Stay
Recently stayed at this place for 3 nights with family. Close to all attractions and the place is a well maintained one, both inside the condo and outside.
Staff was curtious and helpful.
Only thing I didn't like is that, one of the staff member, gave us the wrong direction. That is not acceptable. Get directions from I-4 not from Florida TPK.
Tiles in side the condo were too old and not attractive.
Alright
The villas are all a bit shabby and run down. Ours was very dark inside and the covered outside area had wholes in and was very dirty and looked out over a road. The pools are nice but some villas are very dar waway from them. The club house and main pool are very good and so is the small shop. However we went out as much as we could to get away from the place as it was a little dark and depressing, however it is good for a tight budget and who needs to spend all there time inside when there is so much to do!
Great Place
Just back from a great stay in Fantasy World, Kissimmee. Rooms were big, clean and well equipped. Staff were extremely helpful and the shuttle buses to all parks were an added bonus. Would definitely stay there again.
Let's hope it has improved!
We've stayed at FantasyWorld on three occasions. Each time it got worse than the time before. The pool is nice enough, but the units kept deteriorating. These places get a lot of use -- let's face it, they're relatively inexpensive and can accommodate a family. The unit during out last visit was run down, the toaster was broken (this has happened each time we stayed there!), the dryer wouldn't heat up again if you opened it during the cycle checked on your clothes, the bedroom closet doors were off their track, and there was stuff splashed all over on the wall behind the headboard in the master bedroom. We asked for another unit and was told this was all they had available. We called housekeeping to clean the wall more than once and they never came. We haven't been back in a couple of years (and there's a reason for that), but I'm hoping they're paying more attention to things than what we experienced.
Fantastic time in Florida
My husband and I were just at the Fantasy World Resort in May, 2003. It was the perfect time of year for us to travel with our three kids. The in-laws went with us. We found our accomodations perfect for us. Our rooms were located at the pool, jacuzzi, basketball courts and playground. The staff was wonderful to deal with. The resort was located close to all the things we were interested in (i.e. church, Disney, the petting farm, horseback riding, grocery stores, THE OLIVE GARDEN, etc).We had a wonderfully relaxing stay and would DEFINITLY stay again.
