... in, but we caught a bunch of fish, and I got one! Our pro Eric is really great - super nice and really animated.

The guide I rode with today is Fritz. He's pretty great and so is his boat - he's lived in the area for a long while, knows this water very well, and his cell phone ring "What is Love" by Haddaway, so that is awesome.

We also saw a bald eagle - 'Merica.

... this late in the season, but a very nice little pub in town, the Cornerstone, has been feeding me and keeping me entertained. The first night here I stopped in to get some food and sat at the bar next to an elderly woman. She turned out to be Linda, the unofficial 'mayor' of Baileys Harbor, who knows everyone and everything. She sort of took me under her wing that first night, telling me where to go and what to see and has checked in with me each evening ...

... stock up on groceries, since I've rented a cabin here in Baileys Harbor, and experienced my second beer room. Yes...beer room (or cave, as the Pic 'n Save called it). The first was yesterday, when I stopped at the gas station to pick up some beer. The cooler was small and didn't have much selection, and then I noticed the double doors leading to the Beer Room. Yes, an entire walk-in cooler devoted to beer. I think I will like it here.
