      ... my 'things I miss' list (next to family, friends, and the gym, of course). To close, a belated Merry Christmas to everyone. I hope you have enjoyed and continue to enjoy the holiday season, the family time, and any traditions you may have. Aside from the consumerism, it's a beautiful time of year and definitely fits into the category of 'miss it when it's gone' and is something many of us probably take for granted just a little bit.       ... age of 86. Unfortunately his funeral was held the afternoon that we flew out to India so I wasn't able to attend. They shared with us the eulogy that was read and our memories of our times with him. He was the last of that generation. Back to Geoff and Jules for a baked leg of lamb for dinner - no curries tonight! Early to bed to get back into Oz ...

      The people returning the van were supposed to by 10am but it was closer to 12, so we didn't get away from Sydney till close to 3 pm.

      We drove to Woolongong and stopped for a photo opportunity, but missed the blow hole at Kiama as there didn't seem to be any appropriate signage for it.
      As it was getting darker we decided we'd better find a caravan ...

      ... to order in front of you. This meant that Ni had been waiting with her food for over 10 minutes before I returned - that is just plain annoying. Also, every time we wanted anything we had to get up and queue to get it. This would almost make sense if there was less or no waiting staff but from what we could see there was loads of them, but they didn’t really do anything apart from point people in the right direction. Basically we had to do all the work ourselves. ...

      ... was very jangly and frayed.

      The traffic to the airport was neglible. We directed the driver to the International terminal but because we were travelling to Melbourne to join the Qantas Dubai flight, we had to readjust and ask the driver to take us to the Domestic terminal instead. He was very cluey about the whole thing - got out his mobile, checked the airport schedule and confirmed the flight number and terminal where we needed to be. ...
