    ... amazing stop as we visited Mon Repos Turtle Centre to see baby loggerhead turtles hatching at night. We arrived as an entire school trip of 7 years olds turned up (cue a lot of complaining and eye rolling from us), luckily we were in group 4 and never saw them again! After about 3 hours at the centre it was our turn to see the hatching and it was incredible to see them dig their way out of the nest and run down to the sea.     ... Leah from the northern part off the metro area. And, elder Doug Gray. He is chairman of the Australian National Council. There were 10 us in all.

    We walked along the quay. In port was the large cruise hip Queen Victoria from the UK. The weather was perfect...a bit the mid 80's. Yesterday it was 100 degrees in Sydney. the people here are saying that they are welcoming the cooler temperatures as autumn and winter are coming.

    ... and that Bondi was going to be too brash and touristy for me. I was totally wrong. The second I stepped off the bus at the top of the Bondi hill I was hooked. I love everything about that beautiful bay. The shops. The bars. Icebergs. The pools. Bucket list playing music out onto the beach. And of course that amazing beach packed full of surfers. 7.
