We traveled from Aunt Peggy & Sheldon's house to Henderson, NC. I rode criss-cross applesauce all the way to our hotel. Mom drove. It rained the first half of the way.

Strolled the Main Street & poked around some of the shops. We drove back to the B&B the same route we'd gone out. We encountered some rain but it was so nice & fresh & green ... It was quite pleasant. We returned to the B&B for a little rest ...

We were seated next to a very young, fresh Marine going to Pendleton. He was befuddled by the screen in the "seat back in front of" him. He said he lived so rurally that they didn't have tv..we purchased his "viewing time" for him (no longer included...United)...it was such a pleasure to do so.
Home again, Home again...
