... late afternoon to early evening. It is also a great area for walking and cycling as well so it is high up on our list of possible areas to look for property.

The Magic Roundabout has been another theme for the Trip. Jo named the van Florence before we left which was derived from "Florence and the machine" one of our favourite artists. Another friend of ours then picked up on the Magic Roundabout theme and said that Chris should be "Zebedee" ...

Going down the King's Staircase, we exited through the Hall of the Giants (and customary gift shop) and down to the Ruins underneath the palace. These show remnants from the site's development over more than 800 years, back to the 1167 castle Bishop Absalon built on a small ...

... neared and, having taken photographs of Kronborg Castle in Helsingor (used by Shakespeare as Elsinore Castle in Hamlet), I went up on deck to check out the Swedish side. It was fairly flat, rather industrial and uninteresting until we could see the amazing Öresund Bridge and the forests of wind turbines. Soon we were sailing into Copenhagen and we passed the Little Mermaid without even knowing. We docked opposite what looked like the naval base, with a row ...
