    ... then decided to come back another day.
    30th June we organised to hire push bikes for the day and cruise the coastline on treadles! Mia did not like the bike seat at first but once we started moving she liked it. We rode 13km into Surfers Paradise had a walk around and enjoyed the view and some lunch. then worked it off on the return ride.

    ... has to swivel as there is only a small space. The lid also has to go up on the toilet, yes that is obvious but it needs to stay up too! Chris thinks of everything. He now is ready to cut a hatch for the toilet door.

    We arrived at surfers paradise and understood straight away why they said it was an up market Benidorm. High rise buildings and a lovely beach. We had a little wonder when we got there to get used to the place, as we always do and then headed back with a mcdonalds feast. We got this family deal, two Big Macs, two cheeseburgers, two salads, two chips, nuggets and four drinks for 20 dollars! We are fatties we know but being travellers we eat whatever is filling!     ... In the last 6 years I have smiled, cried, thought I'd rip all my hair out and then come out laughing again. Lucas you are a smart, funny, often silly, loving little boy. You are not the same shy boy who left Canada 10 months ago, you have become more outgoing and confident in yourself and it's fantastic to see your sense of humour progressing daily!!

    ... just wouldn't have a bar of them. We did eventually get her to have a photo with Dorothy in Wiggles World at Dreamworld. I was lucky enough to be picked out of a crowd to be kissed by a sea lion during the show at Seaworld which had me very excited - it took me back to the days when Scott and I got to swim with them on our honeymoon. Scottie turned 39 while we were on the coast so we went out for dinner to celebrate. We must have looked a bit odd - all dressed up ...
