This morning we were in no big hurry to get out of bed. Plus, it was raining. Good day to sleep in. However we were hungry, so we pulled ourselves out of bed at 8:30 for breakfast which consisted of a bagel, and a few mini croissants. Donna wanted to come back to the room to plug herself in to our portable stim unit to help with the bone spur in her hip. Sad when everybody else's electronic devices are phones, and tablets while ours ...

... scuba diving boats, fishing charters and more mega-yachts. And then there are all those luxurious waterfront mansions to capture your attention. There's a lot to look at in Fort Lauderdale. But eyes on the road, err, waterway!!! To make a left hand turn out from Lake Sylvia we had to dodge boats in all directions. And unfortunately, there are a number of captains who believe in the saying "Might has Right"...even if the size of their boat is NOT extraordinary. It's all in ...

At least we don't have to get up and go anywhere in the morning. News tonight reported a gun was found at Miami international airport, where we will be in 2 days time. Safe ...

... were more important. Dinner was pretty quiet, because I guess the retirement home had turned in for the night. However, I kept looking around wondering if we were going to get another two hour French lesson tonight, but we made it uninterrupted through dinner. Sunset turned into a bust, because it was cloudy. At 9:30 we went up to the very top of the ship to watch a fountain show to the music from James Bond movies. It was very cool. Off to ...

... to, not to mention knowing that in less than a week I could be on one of them; I'm so ready to go!

    Wish me luck!

Oh, and how could I forget, an innocent day trip to the beach becomes a group of us at a beach front bar. The waitress hooked it up, giving us a 2 for 1 coupon! I'm noticing a trend here. They have MASSIVE clam shell buckets, for lack of a better word, filled with a blue rum punch concoction, finished with fresh fruit. Delish.
