After spending a lovely 2 weeks with my parents in Penang we were due to travel the East coast of Malaysia. Unfortunately the weather had other ideas and the entire coast was subject to severe flooding and was effectively closed to tourism. After debating long and hard we decided to travel to Thailand and spend some time on the beaches of the Andaman Coast.
