... can sometimes be unreliable, and hiring a private car would be far too expensive, we thought we would spend the night in Krabi then fly out the following morning, just to be safe. I was quite excited to stay at the hostel we had booked as it was called Hogwarts and themed after Harry Potter (for which, if you know me, I am an absolute fanatic).

Arrived late evening, went for dinner. Checked in to our hostel a day too early! Non La Mer hostel. Coming into low season now so a bit quieter. A very good meal to end an even better week! 20th May - A sad goodbye to our temporary travelling companions this morning. We have both enjoyed the company of Nick and Alison and can't thank them enough for a brilliant week here in Ao Nang. Like all good things they must come to an end so we are back to our long journeys and small, hot ...

... with bars and restaurants, hotels and plenty of tourists! The ride had come right in so there wasn't much beach to see; we realised that there aren't any places here where you can park your car in the day time without getting fined. It was fine at night just not for us to leave it in the same spot all day. This ment that we can't do the boat tour or we pay £20 on top of the tour for taxi. Or we come here and stay a night or two. We grabbed a bite to eat and ...
