We got to the hotel feeling ready to have a nice swim and relax, but unfortunately the hotel doesn't lend itself to either of those things... ... heck. It certainly was a great way to enjoy a drizzly afternoon. After finally making our way up to the north we found my new paradise for the next three nights. Thanks to my loving grandparents (thanks nana, poppa and grama) I used my birthday money to spoil myself for a few days. I checked in to Malibu beach bungalows. I had my own room and private bath. The windows all opened and my mosquito net kept me safe while I could enjoy the sea breeze and sounds of the ...

... snorkelling we headed off to Bamboo island and again what an amazing place and tho was to be our home for the night. It was gorgeous. White sandy beaches - a view of Phi Phi dom, Phuket and Phi Phi lok where Leo filmed the beach. Bamboo island was an experience. When we arrived it was jam packed of thousand and thousands of tourists. The beaches where over run with boats and people and it was noisy. We found our tents an decided to hit the beach. After an hour ...
