      ... clean, especially the toilets. I am impressed that they are in good, clean condition and there's no foul smell in them too. Apparently, they clean the toilets and dinning area every day. So, although it is quite cramped in the insides of the boat, especially the cabins, on the whole, it is quite liveable minus any luxury comforts. It is an experience doing a live onboard dive trip.       ... the handrail for people to hook their fishing rods into... It seemed quite appealing and we were actually tempted to go buy a fishing rod and see if we couldn't catch ourselves a little treat for the BBQ, but instead we went to the local butchers, which is called Mickey's - how Australian does that sound? Haha... We picked one of the various BBQ packs on offer and got 30 bits of meat for 30 dollars, which is pretty good and on the evidence of tonight's dinner, ...

      ... a coffee (delicious) and people watch. Kuranda Village is also the terminus of the skyrail (cable car) and or train. I look forward to travelling these as they were specifically set up to allow viewing and enjoying the rainforest with minimal impact. Ed had a restaurant of choice all planned out, Frogs. No they didn't serve frog but Ed did enjoy a sampler of kangaroo, crocodile and emu done on skewers and served with dipping ...

      ... still towing our trailer so it was much easier on the car. We got out of town & not all that much further past the beautiful Mount Carbine area when Damo told Chris to pull up because there was smoke coming from the tyre on the trailer - another wheel baring, long story short it was fixed but we were on the side of the road for ages, many thanks again to our fellow travellers ...
