... that we were going to the zoo to cuddle koala bears, just like she wanted to. We got to the zoo just in time to cuddle some koalas - turns out they would stop in just 20 minutes time! So we bought an umbrella to walk around with and headed over to the koala sanctuary where we both got to cuddle a cute little koala. After spending the morning wandering round the vibrant southbank area of Brissie, we ditched the car and hopped a flight to Proserpine, picked up another car, a boot-load of booze and then boarded our charter yacht at Abell Point Marina near Airlie Beach. The next six days were the most fantastic, relaxing time cruising from bay to bay around the stunningly beautiful ...

... expensive painting we've ever bought!! We really enjoyed exploring the hippy town but after a few hours it was time to board the train back to Cairns. This was not just any train though, the platform was built in 1915 and remains in tact, the cabins had high ceilings decorated with white tiles, it was like we had gone back in time. We paid a bit extra to upgrade to gold class so fortunately we had individual seats and cashed ...
