    ... calf’s head and the other person tried to lasso the calf’s feet, and finally do bull riding. My favorites were bull riding and barrel racing (except for Maeve dancing which I will get to in a minute).     We took a ranger led tour through the preserve with Sarah. She was an excellent source of knowledge and information regarding the creation of the preserve! We hiked with her to Phelps Lake. (Rain and All). In 2001 Laurence Rockefeller donated 33,000 acres and in 2004 all of the cabins that originally created the family ranch were moved off the land.     We couldn't go into yellowstone national park due to the government shutdown (two parties arguing about getting more money) so we stayed just outside. When we woke up the next day I looked outside and saw that the ground was entirely white, it had snowed two or three inches! Later we went to a grizzly and wolf discovery centre.     We left Lehi Salt Lake City to head for Yellowstone national park. We started at 8.30am Rich was the leader ..we went on the freeway ...someone neglected to tell Alister we were heading to Bear Lake ...they took a different exit to us..we could not get over in time.
