      ... a couple hundred feet or so...it was worth it! From above you can really see the colors and almost otherworldliness of the place. I posted a pic earlier .actually a pic of a pic to get it posted here. Afterwards, we went to the actual boardwalk around it and a couple others...the same one we went on in the morning that was too foggy to see thru. As we walked along it...and came to the yoga pants conclusion...you couldnt see the full effect of the springs ...

      ... at Big Springs at about three thirty - a super short day. We had been toying with the idea of pushing on, as the next stretch follows an old rail bed which is notoriously ************* account of the deep, soft volcanic sand which lines the route.       After leaving Rapid City we traveled to Cody (named after Buffalo Bill Cody)Now on to Yellowstone and Yogi bear country ,lots of wild life Bison,deer,elk,moose,eagles etc. Bubbling mud,boiling water and old faithful even though the old faithful lodge was more impressive than the geyser.So now staying at West Yellowstone which is Montana for the night and now heading to Salt Lake ...
