... into the air. Over 5,000 gallons of water shot straight skyward in spectacular fashion. The steam covered much of the water show but it was still an amazing site worth witnessing.

Many visitors watch Old Faithful and then rush off to the next destination but there is so much more to see in the Upper Geyser Basin of Yellowstone. We strolled on down the boardwalk viewing all hot springs and geysers. The Anemone geyser was ...

As we packed up the tent and put the stove on for breakfast in preparation for our ride from Warm River to Flagg Ranch, it snowed, and a cold wind blew through the valley. We rode for ten miles on Tarmac before turning onto Grassy Lake Road - a dirt track skirting the Western edge of Yellowstone. We soon crossed from Idaho into Wyoming - signalled by a mandatory bullet hole ridden sign - and climbed ...

... to Tower Falls. When we started to drive out, we saw at least forty elk just wandering in a grassy area in the middle of town. I thought it was really weird that they were not afraid of humans; in fact they didn’t pay any attention to us at all. When we rounded the bend to exit, the place we were in seemed to change to a completely different world. The grassy plain turned into mountains as we rounded a sharp bend in the road. It ...
