Day 79 - Kickin' It on the Beach
It's Wednesday, again. We arrived at 2:30am Cooks time (it's in the same time zone as Hawaii). We sat in front a group of drunk Kiwi's all psyched upn for the holiday. They started early and jabbered the whole way here. We had to move seat to get some rest. Unfortunately I didn't get any since I can't sleep on planes. Jim is another story. I have …
Day 83 - Rainy Island Days
The hotel hosted "Island Nights" last night. I'd been waiting for this all week. It consisted of an island style buffet with local foods being prepared and a Cook Island dance show. The food was awesome! The show was beautiful. There were dancers from the age of 4 to about 21. The children were adorable and the young adults where nice dancers. The …
Island Nights Dancing
We saw the most wonderful show this evening. It included a great local cuisine buffet dinner and front row seats to the Edgewater Resort's Island Nights. The Cook Island dancing is some of the best dancing in Polynesia. Check out the video. The kids are adorable!

Sunday 21st November Off to Church
It's late when we arrive at the Edgewater Hotel in an overpriced taxi ($15 NZ) and it’s all we can do to carry our bags up a flight of stairs and make our way to the Spaghetti House at the front of the resort. There’s a buffet and Polynesian dancing happening in the main restaurant and we …
Chapter 4: I become very lazy.

We especially loved the free activities & classes. Definitely take advantage of them. Food was really good. Location was gorgeous. We watched whales off the coast.

Our room was great! Outside there was a big pool and the ocean just waiting to be swum in. The hotel provided snorkeling equiptment and had many wonderful activities to do during our stay. The ocean was right outside our door, and I saw so many beautiful & unique fish while snorkeling. The Edgewater hotel was very nice and I would recommend it to anyone going to the Cook Islands.

The only warning we would have is to watch the paths after a rain, they are deadly slippery.
