... have some kook in the crowd who won’t shut up. We ignored him and were glad he wasn’t seated next to us.

Miraculously, we made it through all 9 innings, and the Cards won 6-2 – hurray! But we’re still mad at them for not getting their butts out to greet the crowds. Not cool, Cards. Not cool. And not cool, Cardinal management. Communication. Communication. Communication.

Another exciting day of fun activities in the youth center. On this day we decorated teashirts and did an in center scavenger hunt. The kids had a really fun time trying to find different items and racing against teams. Long hours again: 9:00-12:00 - center closed so we can rush down from deck 17 to 4 to have a quick lunch in the staff mess. It's funny when how quiet we all become ...

... it happen. (And VERY often Connie HELPS the stars align! Thanks Con!)

Billy and I were still in Orlando when this all developed so we were looking at about a 2,500 mile trek in about 10 days which doesn't leave much time for anything but driving... but the opportunity was too right to miss. So with the advent of email and Facebook the coordination of events can certainly REACH A LOT MORE PEOPLE A LOT FASTER but it still ...
